"Like a romantic Hollywood musical of the 1940s or 50s—but with a global perspective that is modern . . . " That's Thomas Lauderdale describing the ensemble he founded, Pink Martini (above photo by Sherri Diteman). Based in Portland, Oregon (and big Trailblazer fans), this 13-piece band has recorded three albums. Their most recent release Hey Eugene! has audio samples available and below you can watch their performance from earlier this year on David Letterman.
