These two military bands are part of active British Regiments. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are the amalgamation of units that have been around since 1678, through European wars, South Africa and two world wars, and they have recently returned from a six-month tour in Iraq. The band members are all regular soldiers who crew tanks as well as play instruments. The Coldstream Regiment dates back to 1650 and are one of the oldest regiments in the entire world. Its regimental band has been touring around the world, visiting battalions stationed abroad and making duty trips. The band's musicians are medical assistants, and in the event of a full scale conflict would be called upon to be stretcher bearers and field hospital assistants.
How did you like the show?
The performance at Nazareth College, Rochester New York on January 25, 2008 was, very simply, over the top! We loved it. Please come again.

Hello, I attended your show on Saturday at Proctors Theater in Schenectady NY with my very best fried of 28 years. We were thrilled and very moved by the show. May God be with you all and much success is wished for all of you. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
I have wanted to write a sincere and heartfelt thank you since being at the performance in Mesa, AZ February, 2008.
What a powerful performance! It evoked in me all the pride I have always felt and been taught as being a scot. No wonder my grandparents never ceased to talk of their beloved homeland in Galashiels, Scotland. I play my Spirit of the Glen constantly! Many, many thank you's for an unforgettable performance. God Bless you and protect you all.
