wilson1.jpgTodd Wilson makes his Kimmel Center debut this afternoon, opening this season's organ series. Wilson is Director of Music and the organist at the Church of the Convenant in Cleveland, Ohio. His program includes Ives, Bach, Conte, Bizet, Duruflé, and Reubke. This blog seems to be known among organists, so I'm looking forward to hearing what they (and anyone else) thought about the recital.

Update:WRTI will broadcast this concert this Sunday, October 28th starting at 3 p.m. (Ethel's concert will also be broadcast, starting at 4 p.m.)

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the concert at the Kimmel Center on Sat. afternoon. He is a masterful artist who uses the resources of the instrument to great advantage. We particularly enjoyed the Ives, the Bizet, the Bach and the encores. His easy manner and relaxed intercourse with the audience added to greater enjoyment of his art.
