The recent upswing in interest in ballroom dancing has made the tango much more popular. This afternoon's performance is by one of the greastest performers of the music and dance, direct from the tango's birthplace, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Tango is known popularly as a dance, but the music is just as important, influenced by the songs of the gauchos (Argentine cowboys). This troupe was formed at the directions of Argentina's minister of culture in 1988 and has been touring the world, teaching people about authentic tango. How was the show, and did you stay to watch/participate in the dance party afterwards?
Hello. I made this video in Costa Rica, for an art show that talked about tango of Argentina. The name of it is "Malevaje Divino".

Hope you enjoy. Thank you.
I would love to learn the tango, but my partner isn't particularly fond of dancing and I don't fancy going to a school if I can't dance after.
