Jeffrey Siegel tackles "The Romantic World of Robert Schumann" in this Keyboard Conversation. Schumann was a contemporary of Mendelssohn and Brahms, the latter was his protege and a friend of Schumann's wife, Clara, a virtuoso pianist in her own right as well as the caretaker of Schumann's musical legacy.
