Spamalot, March 20–April 6, 2007
If you've ever seen the film version of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, you've probably been quoting it ever since (my personal favorite is "Help! Help! I'm bein' oppressed!"). Tonight, the musical "lovingly ripped off" from the film opens at the Academy. It's won fourteen Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and it celebrated its first anniversary on Broadway with the World's Largest Coconut Orchestra. Tell us what you thought of the show.

This show was one of the best touring productions I have seen at the Academy. This was a hysterical performance - I mean laugh out loud funny - and it was nice to see the large age range in the audience equally enjoying this show. Thanks for bringing it to us! I hope I can catch it again before it leaves.
I can't remember ever laughing so long or so hard. I expected it to be good but, it was way beyond good. I would never have imagined you could have surpassed the movie, but you did. THANK YOU !!!! Ni Ni Ni
