The Philadelphia Orchestra Percussion Group (POPG) interprets favorite classical pieces, performs compositions by one of their own members, and also performs contemporary music. If you missed seeing POPG perform Jennifer Higdon's ZONES last year during the One Book, One Philadelphia event, you missed quite a memorable event. Tonight, POPG ends their performance with this haunting exploration of the life of a Vietnam infantry soldier.
