Broadway Juniors
The Kimmel Center's Broadway series and The Gershman Y hosted MTI's Broadway Junior on Tour, Afterschoolsical Special January 18,19, 20.
Six performances took place and children from nearby elementary and middle schools attended.
Afterschoolsical, is a fast-paced, fun-filled educationally based musical that follows the "Littletown Middle School drama club" and the challenges they face in choosing their annual musical. The Show highlights the importance of working as a group, simple theater terms, and the excitement that goes into putting a show together.
All of those who attended had a great time singing songs from Into the Woods Junior, Dear Edwina Junior, and The Music Man Junior. The show helps to unleash the creative power of musical theater while still having fun.
