Open Topic, Holiday break

Posted at December 23, 2005 09:00 AM in Holiday .

The Kimmel Center blog will be going a little quiet while we're away for the holiday break. While there aren't many new postings, read-up on our archives or feel free to start a discussion here. Tell us if you gave or received any CDs as presents this year, and which ones? Tell us if you're seeing any shows around town? Or, if you're traveling out of town and seeing performances in other venues.

Don't forget, the Kimmel Center will be open for New Year's Day. I'll start a separate topic for that, but if you're downtown for the Mummer's Parade, be sure to stop into the building for some warm refreshments and live entertainment.

If, by chance, you're sad that we won't have a white Christmas this year, be sure to make your own snowflakes. (Warning: it's a little bit addictive once you figure it out)

Had to work this past Friday, the 23rd. There were about 14 people in the office (scattered on 9 floors). Obviously, it was quiet and boring, so I spent 2 hours making snowflakes. That was a day's pay well-earned, huh? Thanks for the distraction!

Happy ChrismaHannuKwanzukah!
